Join the Academic Commons’ SoTL hybrid community for feedback and support in your research

Join our Scholarship for Teaching & Learning (SoTL) hybrid community for shared support as you develop a research project. This community is open to anyone at Jefferson interested in teaching and learning – including faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students. We’ll meet three times (January, March, and May) on Thursdays from 1-2 pm. You’ll learn the essential steps of SoTL research and share progress as you give and get feedback from others. By the end of the sessions, you will have created a comprehensive SoTL research study outline and gained resources and research support. You’ll learn the essential steps of SoTL research and develop a comprehensive SoTL research study online.

We will utilize the book Engaging in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: A Guide to the Process and How to Develop a Project from Start to Finish, written by Cathy Bishop-Clark and Beth Dietz-Uhler, as our guiding resource. We’ll provide participants with a copy of the book, but please sign up now to secure your copy.
