Jennifer Wilson, medical writer and editor for the Center for Teaching & Learning Writing Center, is now a certified Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS).
To earn ELS certification, Jennifer had to provide proof of her editorial experience and successfully complete a 3-hour examination that objectively assessed her editorial skill. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in editing in the life sciences according to internationally recognized standards. The Executive Council of the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences allows editors who successfully complete the certification examination to use the designation ELS after their names. It has certified a little over 1,000 editors worldwide since its founding in 1991. Please join us in congratulating Jen on this accomplishment!
