Canvas Countdown: 231 days until Canvas launches… are you ready?

Canvas, Jefferson’s new learning management system, will replace Blackboard on June 30, 2020. That means that courses in Blackboard will retire. Are you prepared?

What does this mean for faculty?
Any course that extends beyond June 30, 2020, MUST be created in Canvas
All newly developed courses should be created in Canvas, not Blackboard

If you are interested in offering a course on Canvas for Spring 2020, email Julie Phillips with course details.

Attend a Canvas workshop and you’ll receive free swag: notepads, pens, tumblers, portable phone chargers

What can faculty do now?

  • Join Growing with Canvas, Jefferson’s self-directed online training
  • Register for an upcoming Canvas workshop
  • Sign up for a one-on-one consultation

Visit canvas.jefferson.edu for workshops and consultations or email Julie Phillips at Julie.Phillips@jefferson.edu.
