The Faces of Jefferson Today
The 21st century will be a time of challenges and opportunities to right the wrongs of the past.
Since its founding in 1824, Jefferson Medical College has attracted and graduated hundreds of doctors who returned to their homes all around the globe with excellent training from their alma mater.
This tradition of excellence has been enlarged to seek out academically
qualified students from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic
backgrounds who display caring and the potential to mature into
skilled and compassionate physicians. Jefferson graduates look toward
a world where race has no role in healing.
